Q. Were you a fan of body art before modelling, and is body art a big part of the alt industry?
I have ALWAYS been a fan of body art even before I was old enough to get tattoos and piercing to be honest, i liked them as they where rebellious and different!
Q. Is the industry like you thought it would be ? What surprised you about it?

As I am fairly new to the industry I still have alot to learn and discover but I am enjoying it and love meeting new and crazy people like myself!!
Q. Did you start off as full-time, or did you start modelling part-time?
It started of as a hobby - just fun, but am getting into it more and more everyday making me more determined to be more professional and long-term.
Q. Was it difficult to build a portfolio, and what did you learn about the process - meeting photographers, make up artists, wardrobe people, etc ...
It was difficult sometimes but worth it in the end ....it can be a pain when things like shoots are cancelled or if your also like a student like I am its hard to find freetime for more shoots but i wouldnt change it for the world!
Q. How was your first shoot ? Were you nervous? What advice would you give new models about how to prepare?
my first shoot was quite lucky as my friend andy was the photographer (www.drawingwithlight.org) so i was nervous but had support for my friend and made 2 new friends at that shoot faye and sarah who I still speak to!

At the moment am not with an agency but would love to be Emotion: stick out tongue
Q. Is safety a high priority for you? What have you learned about how to keep yourself safe while working as an alt model ?
I always take a chaperone with me for support, and if a photographer tries to force you to do things YOU are not comfortable with do not work with them. You should both get on and feel comfortable!
Q. Have you found your own style within alt modelling, how did you decide on your 'look'?
I guess although you can tell that I'm alternative, tattooed etc I dont think i look like many other people which I think and and I hope other people think is great !
Q. Is it important to be flexible in what type of photoshoots and jobs you'll take, or do you decide what you will and won't do and just stick to that?
I believe the more flexabile and versitile you are the better for your portfolio but like I said youve gotta feel comfortable and happy with what youre doing or the pics wont be as good!
