I love Jennifer Weiner and have read almost every novel she's written ('In Her Shoes' was one of my favorites). I am reading 'The Last Promise' by Richard Evans. It's a romance that takes place in Italy, but very well written, not trashy.

I'm pleased to read that someone else loved this book as much as I did. I felt it to be one of the few recent books that deserves to be beautifully bound in leather and read on a cold day in front of a roaring fire.

I am currently rereading Gone With the Wind.

The Historian is lined up on the book shelf with too many others I want to read. I don't find time for books during November and December and I miss them. I'm in two book clubs so my most immediate selections are The Last Girls by Lee Smith and Queen of the South by Arturo Revez-Reverte.
