Hey everyone I have recenly purchased a tatoo it from thetttooshop.co.uk and have been attempting to practice with it on grapefruit and a practice skin, for some reason I have to keep dipping to top up the ink on the needle every few seconds, the lines I do are very thin, and if i try to press a little harder in hope of getting a better line the needle tends to drag so I get the feling it is not getting the right depth, the needle I am using is a 5 needle round liner so i understand it will be quite thin but the 3 needle liner I used did seem to be a little thicer than this, I dont know what im doing wrong but it is not going very smoothly atall.
p.s I dont know if its needle depth but I have followed all the tips such as when setting up the needle should barely show from the tube.
Any tips Ideas welcome
Anonymous:Try turning up your voltage. Plus, Your machine may be out of tune.
i would say check the voltage and i think best way to learn is to practice on yourself somwhere discreet you know your ankle or foot
thanks for your reply but Its ok now, managed to fix this problem a while back, just used vaseline, made sure i had plenty of ink in the tube from dipping, adjusted my machines and depth, stopped using diamond tubes although im used to them now aswell lol, practiced practiced practiced, made all the difference
