Just as long as you don't *** when I get mad.

Yes, tattoos certainly say look at me. They have also been known to say... laugh with me, strike up a conversation with me, stay away from me, fear me, be curious about me, be disturbed by me, and more.

Do you only *** when you're mad?

If someone only got tattoos for the "look at me" reaction...they got them for the wrong reason.

No they don't. If you say something like that...I guess you don't have any.

I totally agree, tattoos have nothing to do with wanting to be looked at :-) Oh well.

The "look at me" theory is totally debunked as soon as you examine the fact that there are people in the world get tattoos that are purely for their own pleasure and never seen by the rest of the world.
I agree with an earlier comment that said something to the effect that if you are getting tattoos to say, "look at me" you are definitely getting them for the wrong reason(s). You might consider getting laser tattoo removal to say, "don't look at me anymore."
I don't know how many of you people are in Eastern Ontario but, I will give you a tid bit of information. Do not go to Tattoo Rav in Aylmer, Quebec. The owner, Raven, is a butcher. I went in for a cover-up on some black work and her ink/ability to tattoo leaves much to be desired.

My first tattoo
was done just to see how it felt and as a bookend to my then-girlfriend's tattoo which is/was a similar size but of a black frog. Because of its position on my shoulder blade and also because of its size, it doesn't show even when I'm wearing a tank top. The second is on my hip and, again, invisible to the general public. And my third tattoo, on my calf, is typically covered although it does see some daylight at the gym and whenever I'm wearing shorts.

Any pics of pre and post-butchering? Did Raven's portfolio mislead you so far as the artist's talents is concerned? People like to know what they're getting into and it would (imo) be doubly bad if you saw one thing in their portfolio and then suffered poor tattooing at the hand of the very same artist.
Thanks for posting the warning, but I'd be interested in seeing what you describe as a butchering.

Well, I'm sure a bunch of people got them because a bunch of their friends had them. Never any shortage of sheep in the world.
