postponing my vertical bridge

...to everyone thinking "I told you so". In a way you're right - I've postponed having my vertical bridge done. Why? Well, aside from not having found someone qualified to do it, there was also the fact that I barely have enough time to properly care for the piercings I have now, and I don't have the time or energy to baby another. There are just more important things, like school and all the clubs and volunteer organizations i've been getting involved with. When I do it, I want to do it right so that if it doesn't work out, I'll know it was through no fault of my own. So in order to maximize my ability to baby it as well as provide a time when healing will be less tumultous health-wise (weather up here is schitzo and it's rough on my immune system), I'm planning on waiting until I go home for an extended break. I may have it as early as thanksgiving or as late as new years, or maybe i won't be ready for the commitment for even longer. but the main thing is, i'm not going to rush it to prove anything, i'm going to do what i know is best for me.

just in case anyone cared.

That's nice. That's what you should always do.

Weather does not an immune system break.

Try vitamins. Lots of C. Zinc when you're feeling "under the weather". Haha! Change your diet. More vegetables, more fruit juice. Less toxins. More water.

Definitly all good ideas, I do need to pay more attention to my health because being sick just makes life more difficult. I've found that drinking tea also helps, esp. for congestion and throat irritation - studies show that drinking a ton of it can dramatically boost your immune system. as well as make you pee a lot.

it while drunk and bored last night. and don't worry, it was killians, not pbr Emotion: smile.

You're lucky. Between the salt soaks, hydrogen peroxide soaks, hot compresses, and the multitude of other things I always seem to be doing, it can be up to 45 minutes a day. I really don't feel the need to add to that right now.

The point of the original post wasn't "guess what I'm going to do". It was to see if anyone could suggest a competant piercer. Somehow the issue of my intentions ended up overshadowing that.
[nq:1]And they make you feel bad, don't they?[/nq]
I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you didn't realize how smarmy and condescending that sounds.

***Ding! Ding! Ding!***

There's the problem: you're agitating the fuck out of 'em. Do a nice salt soak or two each day and leave 'em the hell alone.
