Ola to ALL, my name is Ms.Angel and anyone that knows me understands why I do not use my last name.. it tends to change every ten years or so... I am full time Tattoo Artist who designs every single piece I throw out into the community. Every single tattoo is customized for each client based on their design desire, character interepretation (of my own perception), life force they presented themselves as and the primary elements of the tattoo design process. This is what makes me a true Tattoo Artist... not a technical artist who is just taught the basics of the tattoo application and then sent on their merry way to replicate tattoo flash items on their shop tattoo walls. Not that there is anything wrong with that as there are many good technical artists out there.  I have been professionally tattooing for the last six years in the fabulous city of Calgary, AB. under the my studio name PAIN ALLEY CUSTOM TATTOO & T-SHIRTS. My brother started me out by throwing me into the vat of tattooing after he was released from a juvenile stint with a homemade gun. I was seventeen and scratched out a living for ten years stumbling over my mistakes... which is where I self taught and figured out alot of the tattoo stumbling blocks.  I had began a formal apprenticeship with Jason Bell of Urban Expressions in 2000 in Thunder Bay but he had a crazy accident on his way up to White River, ON. which ended that apprenticeship. Then had to take up the adventure to find another apprenticeship which led me to the big ole city of Toronto.. I attended there for three summers... It was the life lessons and tattooing evolution of a lifetime and will thank that Jason for the ends of time for pushing me further into the field and never throwing in the towel.  I tattooed  in Thunder Bay, ON. over the duration of my apprenticeship, developing my own art style and preferences and finally moved out to Calgary, AB. As every Tattoo Artist does follows the smell of money and soon will be the time in five or so years to follow it elsewhere.. Well I hope that I meet and greet those who are serious about our trade and take the art work even more serious as we are LUCKY to be able to create living artwork. To all the Tattooed - I SALUTE YOU!

Body art
Tattoos: 5
Tattoos: Tramp Stamp - (I got it when tramp stamp was in existence) yin yang of Lust or Love .. I designed it to remind myself that you never know what you are gonna get. Hence the many name changes. LOL Abstract Right Forearm - I tattooed it on self for a interview at a studio on color. Its a reminder to not take the roads that are well travelled and come with jail time again. Left top Thigh - Pain Alley tattoo logo.. of an tribal type no not tribal but looks it of an Angel and thats me. The rest I will not bother describing as they are all being covered.. Young minds and their ideas arent for older minds and reality... hahahhaahahh so keep that in mind when YOUS are getting your next tattoo.. k..

Advice: Make sure you pinch your cuticle for your tattoo application start... Run a line on your virgin clients... Take no bullshit excuse for missed appoinments and always take a RETAINER for all artwork before you put pencil to paper... Even if you consultation is FREE to do the design is at your cost... Never give the tattoo client an copy of your design (if they can get i done cheaper done somewhere else they will)...Always do your tattoo homework... Leave your personal drama at the shop door...At the end of the day it comes done to that mighty DOLLAR so dont kid yourselves.
