 Healing after 12 years??1 replies Anonymous: I've had my tongue pierced 12 years ago (14 gauge). I'm not so in love with it now and I took it out two days ago. Tonight I tried putting it back in and it made my tongue sore. Now my question...How long until the hole completely closes? Will it ever completely close? I ask because I had my ears stretched to a 2 gauge for about two years. I took took them out six years ago and they never have returned to a 'normal' size. Anonymous: I have had mine for about the same amount of time...I can wait sometime EXP: I have had it out a few Months to a year, and Am Still Able to poke it through....it is definitely nice to be able to take it out and give it a rest ... | Have a question?
