Skincare recommendation
Hi. I have combo, sensitive skin, and I would like some skincare recommendations from the AF experts - I find it hard to get honest, non-biased advice from SAs! My biggest needs: hydration (non-oily, water-based), some anti-wrinkle treatment (I'm 34, my skin is in good shape but would like to start fighting some small expression lines) but, most of all, a simple, non-fuss routine - otherwise I'll end up skipping it! Currently I wear: La Roche Posay Hidraphase XL SFP15 + Hidraphase eye cream in the morning La Roche Posay Active-C + Active-C eye cream in the evening My skin feels confortable, but looks a bit dull, with a few zits and blackheads here and there. Also haven't noticed any effects from the vitamin C creams (2 months use). In the past I have used Nuxe (ok, but I had red patches every now and then) , Darphin (big, bad reaction!), Caudalie (I liked some of the products, but couldn't find the right balance - either too oily/heavy, or not hydrating enough - maybe I should try to get better advice on this line?) , but for a long time I haven't felt that my skin is glowing. I don't mind investing on good (expensive) skincare, but I want basics, not the "you have to get the get 10 different products in the line and juggle them around" I hear from SAs all too often. Thanks! opoponax at clix dot pt

Possible Proenza Schouler/Target Stores...
According to Wednesday's WWD, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Shouler have been in talks with Target to possibly carry a line in Target stores. Nothing is definite, but it is possible the pair will design a collection for Target's "Go International" campaign, which launches next month. Luellla Bartley will be one of the first designers showcased when "Go" launches. While we in the south continue to wait for H&M, at least we have Target.

Introducing myself
hi everyone! I've been lurking here off and on for a couple years now, but wanted to finally introduce myself... My name's andrew and i'm 23 years old and live in Bellevue, WA. I just finished school at the University of Washington and got a job where I can finally afford to shop. Like a typical guy, I'm pretty lazy when it comes to fashion and shopping but I pretend to at least know / keep up with the latest stuff. My girlfriend also forces me to go shopping pretty frequently, haha. So that's me... if you have questions, feel free to ask! I sometimes build websites in my spare time. I am thinking about doing a fashion website where people can share ideas and follow trends... is that interesting to you guys? Any other thoughts on fashion sites you'd like to see but that don't exist? Andrew

Legwear with short dress/tall boots
I'm performing in a production in two weeks, I've decided to wear a black sleeveless v-neck dress which falls above the knee, and a pair of tall black boots (below the knee). I'm wondering what, if any, legwear would look best with this? I saw Katie Couric wearing a short skirt/tall boot combo this morning and she had bare legs. I'm also wearing a black sparkly handknit shawl over the dress. I'm in the process of knitting a lacy purple one, but I know it won't be done by showtime. Any suggestions? Jen in ND

Angora in freezer?
I bought a couple part-angora sweaters yesterday. They were practically giving them away at Marshall's... I washed them and, not surprisingly, there is a fair amount of pilling. Maybe not "pilling" exactly small, fluffy clouds that I can remove easily by hand. I seem to recall something about putting angora sweaters in the freezer to reduce shedding, but I don't know: A) If it's an old wives' tale 2) Do I have to do this all the time? Keep it in the freezer (year, right)? Will the shedding diminish eventually? Like I said, they were practically free so I'm not looking at them as investment sweaters. (I paid less than $20 for the two of them.) tia, cofarb

My newest discovery for shiny hair
I bought new Sasson Dryer Styler the other day and was pleasantly surprised it worked like it advertised. My long thick hair was dried so fast and so soft. My hair was very shiny. I left off the shine products to see if I get the shine with the drier alone. It worked without the products. I also bought a new boar bristle brush and a ceramic vent brush. Professional Hot Air IONIC=AE Dryer and Styler Model VS428 IONIC=AE Hot Air Styler dries your hair faster. Makes hair shinier and adds volume while it conditions and styles. * Features Include:1000 watts * Anti-Static * 2 heat settings for drying and styling all hair types * Two styling attachments * 1-1/2" brush attachment for large curls and waves * Concentrator attachment * Immersion Shock Protection safety plug with test and reset functions * UL listed It was only $25. I can't imagine a higher price dryer doing a better job. What has your opinion on Ionic dryers? xoxoxo Miss J www.kittenwtw.com featuring Rediscovered Favorites, Things We Miss [link]/

Looking for special swimsuit
Hi, I'm trying to find something between a bikini and a one-piece swimsuit, but I don't know if such a thing exists. Let's say it's something like a tankini, where your top (if you choose to wear it) is snapped or clipped onto your pantie and sort of becomes a one piece swimsuit which allows you, for instance, to dive off a diving board without you having to hurry and put your top back over your breasts while you're swimming out from underwater, as is usually what happens with a bikini. Anybody know of something like this? Viviane

Eileen Fisher cashmere
Okay, I admit I have a cashmere thing going. I don' t have much in the way of cashmere, but what I do have, I love. So was in Nordstrom's Rack today while my daughter expored the nearby Old Navy for shirt, and found a $325 Eileen Fisher asymetrical cartigan in an blue-based lavender for $89. It had been marked down a couple of times, but still...seemed like a good amount of cofarb-bucks. It's asymetrical in a way that seems more styled than faddish (it's longer and fuller in the front), I love the way it looks on me, 'spose I could be missing something. But I think I scored. Anything I should know? How well does Eileen Fisher do cashmere?. The quality feels good. Of course, one could ask that relative to the original $325 price tag..but I paid $89. Any comments? Did I do okay? beeswing

Men's Earrings
Hi! I'm new to this group and I recently decided to take the plunge (I worry about little things like this) and get my left ear pierced. I was just wondering what everyone thought about men (in their 20's) with earrings.

Ugg clogs - do they stretch out?
Hi all, I apologize if this has been brought up before. I just bought 2 pair of the Ugg clogs, New Solvang Clog, one in a size 7 and one in a size 8, because I couldn't decide which size to get. So now I'm trying to decide which ones to keep. My usual size is an 8, and I have a somewhat narrow foot. With the size 7, my heel lines up right to the back of the shoe, while with the size 8, there is about 1/2 inch in the back of room. The toes feel good in both pair. So, my question is for those of you who have had Uggs, and especially the clog style, do they stretch out over time? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

54 degrees morning and evening fog The mountains are covered with ablanket of snow on top and look spectacular. This morning I made a turkey rice soup since the family will watch the Rose Bowl on television this evening and we need a quick meal. I unfortunately have a meeting at 7 p.m. I took a car load of donations to the thrift shop from the youngest child who has decided it is time to thoroughly clean her room. We had lunch with my son and soon I leave for work. red cashmere Classiques Entier sweater, collar and five red buttons in front gray lightweight wool Lauren slacks black and gray argyle socks red SW loafers black, tan and white thin ribbon scarf gold earrings with red and black stones, gold watch black leather jacker small black hobo bag...the green Birkin style bag is a pain to use because you cannot open it easily or see the contents Audrey
